This Privacy Policy explains how NewVemo Technology, the developer and maintainer of ShuleBrain, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the ShuleBrain website (the "Site") or use ShuleBrain DSK (the "Software"). We built ShuleBrain to help schools run smoothly, and we take the data that flows through it seriously.
ShuleBrain is developed and maintained by NewVemo Technology, based in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. For the purposes of this Policy, NewVemo Technology is the party responsible for deciding how data collected directly through the Site (such as contact form submissions) is used.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use contact form submissions for advertising or marketing to third parties.
For examination and result data uploaded through ShuleBrain DSK, the uploading school is the data controller — meaning the school decides what is collected from students and published. NewVemo Technology acts as a data processor, storing and displaying that information on the school's behalf via our hosting provider, Supabase. Questions about a specific student's result data, including correction or removal requests, should generally start with the school that uploaded it; we are glad to help facilitate that conversation if you contact us.
We share data only with the service providers that make the Site and Software work, under their own applicable terms:
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry and for our internal recordkeeping, after which they may be deleted. Examination result data remains published for as long as the uploading school chooses to keep it available, or until removal is requested through the process described above.
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect data on the Site, including access controls on our Admin Dashboard (restricted to authorized administrators via authenticated sign-in) and row-level security policies on our database that limit public access to read-only, published information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. The Template Creator tool uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember region/district selections on your own device, as described in Section 2. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
The Site itself is not directed at children, and the contact form is intended for use by adults. However, examination result pages may display information relating to students who are minors, published by their school. Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority and, where required by law, consent to publish such information. Parents or guardians with concerns about a student's published results should contact the relevant school, or reach us and we will assist.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights regarding data submitted through our contact form, email shulebrain@gmail.com. For examination result data, please see Section 4.
Our hosting provider, Supabase, may store data on servers located outside Tanzania. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
